Strade Bianche Women Elite and Strade Bianche provisional entry lists are announced

The entry list for the 10th edition of Strade Bianche Women Elite Crédit Agricole and the 18th edition of Strade Bianche Crédit Agricole, taking place on Saturday 2 March, are announced. Both races are set to be a true clash of the stars with several international champions awaited at the start. Here you can find the route for both men and women route.

Strade Bianche Women Elite Crédit Agricole

After contending for victory to the last metre in the 2023 edition, Demi Vollering and World Champion Lotte Kopecky, recent winner of the UAE Tour Women, will once again lead Team SD Worx. The winners of the last two editions will have to compete against a cast of strong challengers starting with the other riders capable of winning at Piazza del Campo such as Elizabeth Deignan (2016), Elisa Longo Borghini (2017), and strong pretenders as Marianne Vos, winner of the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, Katarzyna Niewiadoma, four times on the podium consecutively from 2016 to 2019, Mavi Garcia, second placed in 2020, Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio, third placed in 2022, Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig, third placed in 2023, and Kristen Faulkner, winner of the Craywinckelhof – Omloop van het Hageland.

Strade Bianche Crédit Agricole

Thomas Pidcock, first British winner of Europe’s most Southern Northern Classic in 2023, returns to defend his title. The Crete Senesi will host he season debut of Tadej Pogačar, dominator of the 2022 edition, in a cast that includes former winners Julian Alaphilippe (2019) and Michal Kwiatkowski (2014, 2017). The 2014 Ponferrada World Champion, by winning the Strade Bianche, would equal Fabian Cancellara’s quota of three victories, earning him the right to the naming of a memorial stone in one of the sectors. Among the most eagerly awaited stars at the start are Egan Bernal, third placed in 2021, Valentin Madouas, second placed in the last edition, Lennert Van Eetvelt, winner of the UAE Tour, Kasper Asgreen, third placed in 2022, Christophe Laporte, reigning European Champion, and Matej Mohoric, who has won at the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana at the start of the season.
