The Slovenian has built his wins by attacking right here, whether when the sector was closer to the finish or in the modern course design, where it comes almost 80 km from Siena. On two occasions he rode away solo, while in 2025 only Tom Pidcock<\/strong> managed to follow him – Pidcock himself having won solo on Monte Sante Marie in 2023.
